A Place to Rest, In Honor of Tim

We are offering a seat. 3 Art benches placed within Black Rock City, 2025. 

Our Dad's only wish expressed about passing was to have a bench. Since 2006 - amongst dust, mud, heat, morning and night - he’d have a place around his iconic Green Van for a stranger to sit, and rest.

In April last year, after a night of looking at art and dancing with us, he passed away suddenly - resting on his stool, admiring the view.

Caitlin and Lauren Randolph have been attending Burning Man with their father, Tim Green, since 2006. Every year Tim gifted his daughters tickets for Christmas, purchased at the higher tier, because he could afford it when others could not. Collectively they have guided years of virgins, hosted an annual community Color Day event, and led an unofficial theme camp: Our House Camp - complete with a white picket fence, mailbox, and a front door with working doorbell.
